Tricia and Allan Andrew welcome you to their Bed and Breakfast, just one mile south off the North Coast 500 route (take the B9168 off the A9).
Please note that we now offer only a continental choice breakfast.
Del Mar B&B has lovely views of the surrounding countryside, over the Dornoch Firth and onto the Moray Hills beyond. We have one bedroom - a spacious family room with a king sized bed and a single bed. The room has the beautiful view pictured above, and is en suite with a good sized family bathroom.
The room is provided with its own toiletries and colour TV. Free internet access is also available.
There is ample private parking and secure storage for bicycles
As we are a mile north of Dornoch, we are happy to drive our visitors into the town for an evening meal or visit to the pub, and there are taxi services for your journey back to us.
Dornoch is famous for its golf courses, but it also has a lovely, long beach, interesting shops, a small but interesting cathedral and good restaurants and cafes.
Dornoch is a good central place from which to explore the rest of the Northern Highlands - the far northern towns of Wick and Thurso and the Castle of Mey are easily visited in a day from Dornoch, returning at night for a comfortable stay at Del Mar. Trips over to the west coast - even as far as the Isle of Skye are possible using Dornoch as your base. And of course the Black Isle and Inverness lie just a few miles south, with the battlefield of Culloden a favourite attraction.
