Tricia and Allan Andrew welcome you to their Bed and Breakfast, just north of the town of Dornoch.  Dornoch is famous for its golf courses, but it also has a lovely, long beach, interesting shops, a small but interesting cathedral and good restaurants and cafes.

Del Mar B&B is situated 1 mile north of Dornoch, and has lovely views of the surrounding countryside, over the Dornoch Firth and onto the Moray Hills beyond.

To reach us from the A9 from the south, take the second turning to Dornoch (B9168) on your right, and travel for one mile towards Dornoch until you reach the road called The Pillars on your left.  We are the first house on that road.  If travelling from the north, you take the first turning into Dornoch on your left (also the B9168).

We have one bedroom - a family room with a king sized bed and a single bed.  The room has the beautiful view pictured above, and is en suite with a good sized bathroom.

The room is provided with its own toiletries and colour TV.  Free internet access is also available.

There is ample private parking and secure storage for bicycles.

Dornoch is a good central place from which to explore the rest of the Northern Highlands - the far northern towns of Wick and Thurso and the Castle of Mey are easily visited in a day from Dornoch, returning at night for a comfortable stay at Del Mar.  Trips over to the west coast - even as far as the Isle of Skye are possible using Dornoch as your base.  And of course the Black Isle and Inverness lie just a few miles south, with the battlefield of Culloden a favourite attraction.
